Simply Beautiful

My brother in law's wedding had been on my calendar for over a year. I had been anxious, excited and nervous for almost the entire time.

September 4th FINALLY arrived and I was SO excited, and still nervous, to photograph the day. When I arrived at the location my mind was completely overwhelmed. It was stunning! A barn just outside of Eugene, Oregon built in the mid 1800's with the most beautiful back drop of trees in various shades of green. The sky was the perfect shade of blue with puffy white clouds. There were a  couple large grass fields framed with very colorful flowers. A pond with geese. The lighting was magical. This is an outdoor photographers paradise! I was in complete sensory over load mode.

The wedding was simply beautiful. The mood of the day was so relaxing and enjoyable. I had an absolute blast photographing this very special day!

Greg and Ursula, it was such a joy and an honor to photograph your wedding for you. My heart was so full. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day. I love you both dearly! Enjoy!

Dear Friends

Last week we went up to the beautiful state of Oregon. My brother in law got married and I had the absolutely delightful privilege of photographing his wedding. Those photos to come soon. ;) On the one day that we had to relax during our brief trip we got to see some very dear friends of ours. I have been wanting to photograph them for a LONG time. They made the two hour drive down from Portland to Eugene(where we were staying) to visit us for a mere 7 hours. How wonderful they are! Ted, Steph, Caleb and Chloe-thank you for the fun. We had such a great time. Can't wait till next time!
